IAGA Announces 2020 Officers and Trustees

The International Association of Gaming Advisors has announced its officers and new trustees for 2019-2020, as first introduced at the organization’s annual meeting in October. John Hagan (l.), a partner with Harris Hagan in London, is the new president.

IAGA Announces 2020 Officers and Trustees

The International Association of Gaming Advisors (IAGA) announced last week that at its 2019 Annual Meeting of Members held on Monday, October 14, the following executives were announced as officers who will lead the association in the 2019-2020 fiscal year beginning November 1:

  • President: John Hagan, Partner, Harris Hagan
  • Vice President: Luke Orchard, Senior Vice President & Chief Compliance and Risk Management Officer, IGT
  • Secretary: Ellen Whittemore, Executive Vice President & General Counsel, Wynn Resorts
  • Treasurer: John Stawyskyj, Partner & Sector Head Hotels Leisure and Gaming, Ashurst Australia
  • Assistant Treasurer: Jeffrey Barbin, Partner, Phelps Dunbar
  • General Counsel: William Downey, Partner, Fox Rothschild

IAGA also announced that its members voted to appoint the following individuals to its Board of Trustees, effective immediately:

  • Karin Ashford, Vice President of Legal and Business Affairs, Penn National
  • Greg Brower, Shareholder, Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck
  • AG Burnett, Partner, McDonald Carano
  • CJ Fisher, Partner, Fox Rothschild
  • Jeffrey Hendricks, Vice President of Regulatory and Compliance, Eldorado Resorts
  • Harper Ko, Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer – General Counsel, Everi

As per the association’s bylaws, each new trustee was appointed to a three year term and is eligible for one three year second term. Finally, the following trustee was appointed to a second term:

  • Vasilios Chrisos, Principal, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC)
