IAGA Names Clark Executive Director

The International Association of Gaming Advisors has named former longtime SHFL gaming supplier executive Kirsten Clark as its new executive director.

Longtime gaming executive Kirsten Clark has been named the new executive director of the International Association of Gaming Advisors (IAGA). Clark will be responsible for overseeing the association’s daily operations, and will work with IAGA officers and trustees to implement the group’s annual goals and objectives.

Clark has 10 years of gaming industry experience, most recently as senior vice president and chief operating officer-Asia for table game supplier Gaming Partners International. At GPI, Clark was instrumental in expanding the company’s day-to-day business operations throughout Asia and the Pacific Rim while simultaneously overseeing GPI’s global marketing and product management divisions.

Prior to that, Clark was vice president of marketing and VP of worldwide marketing for Shuffle Master, Inc.

“I am thrilled that Kirsten has joined IAGA as executive director, as she brings with her an expansive knowledge of the worldwide gaming industry that will be an invaluable asset to our organization,” commented IAGA President Katie Lever. “Her professional accomplishments combined with her enthusiasm for gaming will be instrumental to IAGA as we continue our support of the gaming industry’s senior advisers through our annual Gaming Summit and other events and focus on expanding our reach internationally.

“On behalf of the IAGA officers and trustees, we look forward to working with her to maintain IAGA’s position as the leading gaming industry executive association.”

“With its longstanding commitment to providing gaming industry executives with collaborative forums where they can meet to discuss important issues facing our industry, IAGA plays an important role in the ongoing development of global gaming, and I am excited to be part of its next phase,” said Clark. “I look forward to working with the officers, trustees and members to further develop the association’s value and expand the benefits its members enjoy.”
