The ICE Totally Gaming trade show, slated for February 3-5 at the ExCel Centre in London, will feature a free seminar on gaming law presented in conjunction with the International Masters of Gaming Law. The IMGL Masterclass will feature a roster of international experts on gaming law.
Featured participants include Joerg Hofmann, president of IMGL and senior partner of Melchers, Germany; Richard Schuetz, commissioner, California Gambling Control Commission; Robert W. Stocker II, member, Dickinson Wright, Michigan, U.S.; Marja Appelman, chief executive, The Netherlands Gaming Authority; Michael Lipton, Q.C., senior partner, Dickinson Wright, Canada and Joseph Cuschieri, executive chairman of the Lotteries and Gaming Authority, Malta.
Taking place on Wednesday February 4 in the Platinum Suite Conference Room, the IMGL Masterclass comprises a full day of C-Level networking and learning. The five seminar topics for discussion and debate are:
• Shared Liquidity: How can markets and operators find enough players and cash to make it work? A panel discussion on the impediments smaller jurisdictions with established regulation for online poker markets face when pooling resources to enter larger markets;

• Need to Know: New Opportunities and Emerging Jurisdictions A series of rapid-fire presentations from leading gaming law practitioners outlining key developments in a number of important iGaming jurisdictions and emerging markets; and,
• Global i-Gaming – What does compliance mean? iGaming compliance with the laws of new jurisdictions.
