Idaho Tribal Casino Prepares for Opening

The Shoshone-Bannock Casino Hotel in Fort Hall, Idaho was preparing last week for its grand opening celebration with a ribbon cutting.

The new facility will employ about 500 workers. Echo Marshall, Executive Marketing Director, Shoshone-Bannock Casino Hotel told KPVI News, “It’s been a work in progress for several years, so a lot of planning, strategic planning sessions, getting out team members ready.”

Construction began in October 2016. The casino has 900 slot machines, a coffee kiosk, 24-hour deli, buffer and lounge.

They are aiming to become a full service resort destination, said Marshall. “We’re just very excited for everybody to be a part of this with us. This is definitely an entire community involvement celebration and something to be proud of for our entire area.”
