London-based International Game Technology (IGT) last week introduced the CrystalCurve cabinet at three casinos in Chile: Enjoy Coquimbo, Enjoy Chile and Enjoy Viña del Mar, the first time the games have been available in the South American country.
The cabinet supports such games as Wild Fury Jackpots.
In a statement IGT said, “IGT is excited to introduce the CrystalCurve cabinet to the Chilean market. The cabinet delivers an exceptional player experience, can modernize the look and feel of any casino floor, and is backed by a deep content pipeline of premium and player-tested, for-sale IGT content.”
IGT also deployed its skill-based game Texas Tea Pinball to the same Chilean casinos. The game is part of IGT’s Video Reel Edge family of games, and they are also housed in the Crystal Curve Cabinet. Players have a choice of traditional video slots games that offer a free games bonus or a skill-based bonus where pinball skills can make a difference.
In a related development IGT has secured a 35 percent gaming machine floor share at the newly opened Chilean Luckia Arica. IGT installed five different cabinet types such as the AXXIS 23/23, the CrystalDual, the CrystalSlant, the OXYGEN and the S3000. They employ game themes such as Golden Eagle, Party Time! And HD multi-game suites.
