Gaming and lottery supplier International Game Technology announced the appointment of Francesco Rodano of Italian regulatory body Agenzia delle Dogane e dei Monopoli (AAMS) as the company’s new international business development manager.
The move follows completion of IGT’s merger with Italy-based lottery giant GTECH S.p.A.
According to Italian news agency Agipronews, Rodano has stepped down from his position at AAMS and will now assume his new role at IGT. Rodano joined AAMS in June 2007 as head of the general manager secretariat before being promoted to lead the remote gaming regulatory division.
Prior to his time with AAMS, Rodano served as sales, marketing and fund raising director at cultural institution Fondazione Musica per Roma. He also spent one year with Euler Hermes as marketing and internet development manager, prior to which he served as marketing manager for Business International.
Also a member of the Expert Group on Gambling Services, Rodano can speak fluent French, Italian and English.
