International Game Technology Plc. has announced the promotion of Dorothy Costa to the leadership position of group head of people and transformation, with a charge to restructure the company’s global workforce framework.
Costa has been IGT’s vice president of human resources for North America since 2015. The promotion brings her into the executive management team, reporting directly to Group CEO Marco Sala.
In her new position, Costa will lead strategic oversight of the global HR programs and directives of IGT, including the implementation of incentives for staff, diversity and inclusion systems, HR guidelines and tools for talent management.
Costa will succeed incumbent Mario Di Loreto, who has been named senior advisor to CEO Sala.
“I wish to congratulate Dorothy Costa, whom I will be working with closely as she takes on the role of global head of people and transformation and we continue to advance IGT’s leadership by attracting and cultivating our industry’s foremost talent,” said Sala.
“I would like to thank Mario Di Loreto for his successful transformation of IGT Human Resources into the People and Transformation organization, and for implementing a strategic operating model that has greatly benefited our company and global workforce.”
