IGT Spin Ferno Launched in Mexico

IGT has launched its Spin Ferno spinning-reel tournament system at select Cirsa casino properties in Mexico, the first deployment of the system in that country.

International Game Technology Plc. announced that it has introduced its spinning-reel tournament systems solution, Spin Ferno, to Mexico at select Cirsa México properties.

Casino Life del Valle, Casino Life Merida and Emotion Casino Ciudad Juarez are the first properties in Mexico to install Spin Ferno. Fueled by IGT’s Tournament Manager 5.0 systems solution, Spin Ferno enables operators to host single or multi-site slot tournaments on the company’s award-winning S3000 spinning-reel cabinet. Spin Ferno is the gaming industry’s first automated tournament product for a mechanical reel cabinet.

“This deployment marks another milestone for the global success of IGT’s Spin Ferno tournament solution,” said María Aldana, IGT’s sales director for Mexico and strategic accounts. “We’ve developed a strong partnership with Cirsa México, and we’re thrilled to bring the company’s high-energy tournament slot play to its players while introducing it to the Mexican market. Our Spin Ferno tournament solution enables IGT to offer its customers more ways to differentiate their floors and modernize the player experience.”

“As the first to deploy the Spin Ferno tournament solution in the Mexican market, Casino Life del Valle, Casino Life Merida and Emotion Casino Ciudad Juarez, stand out as premiere gaming destinations,” said Julian Lopez, Cirsa Mexico operations director. “The installation of Spin Ferno allows us to remain on the cutting edge of technology while offering our clients best-in-class gaming entertainment.”

The Cirsa Mexico properties have deployed the Spin Ferno tournament solution on S3000 cabinets. When these slot machines are not utilized for slot tournament play, patrons can enjoy S3000 titles such as Hotsy Totsy and Red Hot Lil’ Devil in revenue mode.
