International Game Technology has revealed two more major releases planned for this week’s Global Gaming Expo—a game series based on the popular talk show hosted by comedian Ellen DeGeneres; and the company’s next generation of reel-spinners, S3000.
The first two games in the series are “The Ellen DeGeneres Show Featuring Ellen’s Dance Party” and “The Ellen DeGeneres Show Featuring 12 Days of Giveaways.” Inspired by the Emmy Award-winning daytime talk show, the games are designed to put players in the middle of their favorite “Ellen” moments.
“I’m so excited to have my very own line of slot machines,” said DeGeneres. “People are going to have the chance to play really fun games, have their own mini dance parties and win actual cold, hard cash. I mean, honestly, what more do you want from me?”
The widely anticipated games are housed on IGT’s CrystalCore cabinet, boasting exceptional sound and visuals on a pristine 42-inch vertical touch-screen display. From the first spin of the reels, the famously familiar “Ellen” theme song emanates from each game and players are transported to the set of their favorite TV hour.
The games include original voice-over work by DeGeneres, and footage from several of her most-famed “Ellen” episodes.

S3000 is the next generation of steppers, the evolution of the iconic S2000 series that has been the industry’s reel-spinning workhorse. Developed by a team of engineers headed by Dennis K. Meade, who holds patents for the major features of S2000, S3000 is being launched with a combination of 30 iconic S2000 brands and 24 new stepper games.
S3000 provides a customizable light and sound spectacle that enables operators to sync an entire bank of machines. An extensive pipeline of new and classic themes including Double Diamond, Double Gold, Wild Cherry, Super Times Pay and more will be offered at launch.
