Guangzhou R&F Properties Co. Ltd. has received yearlong extension to open a new resort (l.) in Incheon, South Korea, which it had been developing with Caesars Entertainment. It had sought three years, after Caesars dropped out.

Incheon Casino Developer Gets One-Year Extension

The government of South Korea has granted a one-year delay to a developer working to complete Phase 1 of a casino resort on Incheon. South Korea’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism also agreed that the developer, Hong Kong-listed Guangzhou R&F Properties Co. Ltd. can assume the stake in the project that was previously held by U.S. casino brand Caesars Entertainment.

Caesars’ former partner of had sought a three-year delay before it has to open.

According to GGRAsia, the scheme known as the Midan City Resort Complex is now being promoted by an entity called R&F Korea, which must find a new partner with casino experience to take the place of Caesars.
