TripAdvisor, the world’s largest travel site, recently gave a 2014 Certificate of Excellence Award to Wind River Hotel and Casino, Wyoming’s biggest casino located closest to Yellowstone National Park. Only 10 percent of the site’s featured listings receive the honor, which recognizes hospitality businesses that maintain an overall rating of four or higher from travelers who post reviews on TripAdvisor.
With breathtaking views of the Wind River Mountain Range , Wind River Hotel and Casino features more than 750 slot machines, 10 table games, the AAA Diamond-Rated Red Willow Restaurant, two 24-hour restaurants, two gift shops, a 90-room hotel, workout room, gift shop and the Northern Arapaho Experience Cultural Room which shares the history of the tribe with artwork, artifacts and photos.
Wind River has 700 employees, making it the main employer in the county. It’s located within driving distance of Yellowstone National Park, the Grand Tetons and Jackson Hole Ski Resort.
