Revealed earlier this week, Indian Head Gaming said the plans mark a “bold new chapter” for the enterprise. Both Oregon venues will remain open while the work takes place.
Improvements will include new slot machines being installed at each location, while on-site restaurants will also be remodeled. New dining options will allow customers to enjoy either sit-down meals or takeaways.
In addition, several other enhancements will be made to the Indian Head Casino. Craps and roulette will be added to the gaming floor and the venue, while Spanish 21, 3-Card Poker, Ultimate Texas Hold’em and Mini-Baccarat will be introduced at a later date.
The operator did not clarify when the work will take place, nor when it expects the projects to be completed.
Indian Head Gaming Committed to Communities
Shawn McDaniel, General Manager at Indian Head Gaming, talked up the improvements. He said this demonstrates the group’s ongoing commitment to investing to improve experiences at its venues.
“These upgrades reflect our commitment to investing in both our communities and our guests,” McDaniel said. “Whether you’re stopping at Plateau Travel Plaza in Madras or visiting Indian Head Casino in Warm Springs, you’ll see a fresh new look, new games, and new ways to enjoy your time with us.”
In addition to on-site gaming and dining facilities, Indian Head Casino hosts music concerts on a regular basis. Upcoming shows include Los Lonely Boys, Little River Band and Jo Dee Messina.
Meanwhile, Plateau Travel Plaza is a 24-hour venue featuring a 3,000sq ft gaming floor and on-site restaurant. It is also home to a convenience store and gas station.
