The MS Lucky Lady ferry boat that connects Rising Sun, Indiana with Rabbit Hash, Kentucky, has suspended service until further notice. According to officials at Rising Star Casino, the ferry is closed for winterizing.
It originally was set to launch in August but due to weather delays and road paving it did not begin operations until October 3. It offered trips across the Ohio River every 15 minutes, seven days a week.
A statement on Rising Star’s website said, “We will keep you advised and hope to be back in action very soon.”
