Innovation Centre VP Hired by PQA

The IT software testing firm Professional Quality Ltd. (PQA) has hired Jennifer Rushton of the Sault Ste. Marie Innovation Centre (SSMIC) to help it create a software testing lab and “center of excellence” in lottery and gaming software testing. Her title will be Vice President of Lottery and Gaming.

Jennifer Rushton, UP Lottery and Gaming Pursuit VP of Business Development for the Sault Ste. Marie Innovation Centre (SSMIC) in Ontario has been hired by the IT software testing firm Professional Quality Ltd. (PQA).

She will assist PQA in creating a software testing lab and “center of excellence” in lottery and gaming software testing in Sault Ste. Marie with the title Vice President of Lottery and Gaming.

Rushton has worked since 2016 for the Innovation Centre’s lottery and gaming cluster initiative.

SSMIC Executive Director Peter Bruijns commented, “Sault Ste. Marie has significant depth of specialized talent in the IT sector and within the lottery and gaming industry, that attracts companies like PQA to our region,” adding, “SSMIC is thrilled to see PQA get their Sault Ste. Marie operations underway and proud to have one of our own involved from the onset in a key leadership position.”

Rushton has been in the industry for almost 18 years. She was recognized this year by Global Gaming Business as a top ’40 Under 40’ emerging leader.
