Andy Bassam recently was named vice president of customer support at Innovative Technology. In his new role, Bassam will oversee development of ITL’s global technical support, as the company’s product range and market share continue to increase.
A 15-year veteran of the cash-handling industry, Bassam has headed up ITL’s customer support for five years. He stated, “ITL customer support is a truly global operation with staff from different continents providing around-the-clock support for customers. We are putting systems in place to provide a faster turnaround for email support requests to further strengthen the daily assistance we provide. To ease new product implementation for customers we are renewing all of our technical manuals, creating an easy to follow, consistent style for our complete product range. We will provide on-site customer visits in more locations to aid customers with hardware and software integration, as well as providing support for product trials through regular monitoring and reporting.”
Operations Director TJ Crowley added, “I would like to congratulate Andy on his promotion to VP of customer support. His contribution to the growth of our global technical support team over the last five years is clear for all to see. As we look to develop our customer support team yet further, Andy will continue to be a pivotal part of our drive to provide the highest level of service.”
