Leading electronic table game supplier Interblock announced a corporate partnership agreement with Penn National Gaming, under which Penn National will install the Interblock suite of ETGs at more than 20 properties of the company’s portfolio across the United States.
Interblock also announced a major installation of a 100-seat ETG stadium at Resorts World Manila in the Philippines.
The Pennsylvania agreement, which includes installations of electronic blackjack, baccarat, craps and roulette, guarantees Penn National exclusivity on newly released products. The games are included in a variety of formats from stand-alone automated and video units to bar-tops, live and/or automated stadiums, and Interblock’s integrated Pulse Arena product, which presents a variety of games in a nightclub atmosphere.
“Penn National has long been regarded as one of the leading operators in North America,” said Interblock CEO John Connelly, “and Interblock’s ability to work with an operator of this caliber is incredibly fortunate for our company. We intend to use a combination of technology and innovation to help Penn reduce operating expenses across their properties, while increasing revenue.
“This partnership allows for Interblock to introduce several product segments designed for various casinos within the Penn portfolio. Everything from stadiums to stand-alone units will be utilized to address the demands within each region. We are thankful to Penn National for this opportunity, and will work hard to make this partnership a success.”
Among the first properties to install as part of the deal are Hollywood Lawrenceburg, Ameristar East Chicago and Hollywood Toledo. Each property will install Interblock’s industry-leading Diamond Stadiums.
The Diamond Stadiums are completely customizable to work with each casino’s unique floor plan and customer base. An unlimited number of play stations can be connected to a single table or generator, providing operators with an effortless way to generate revenue while simultaneously reducing operator expenses.
Configured with dealer-assist tables, automated generators and/or video generators, the stadiums provide multi-hand blackjack, roulette, baccarat and craps games to patrons from a single play station. Operators are able to turn a dealer-assist table into an automated stadium with the touch of a button during non-peak hours, allowing for non-stop revenue generation.
“We’ve long been fans of Interblock’s electronic table games products, and are pleased to be able to offer them at more than 20 of our company’s leading properties,” said Dan Cherry, vice president of gaming operations for Penn National Gaming.
In a separate release, Interblock officials say the Resorts World Manila (RWM) integrated resort is live with a 100-seat configuration of the Diamond Interblock Stadium.
Interblock President of Asia Pacific Michael Hu said, “We are thrilled to provide the luxury and style of electronic table gaming to RWM. The Diamond Stadium creates a fantastic focal point and unique game design within the property, which adds to the luxurious and exclusiveness the casino has to offer. This is another significant installation for Interblock in the Philippines, and we are honored to be able to deliver the Super Spin bonus concept from RWM to a live environment.”
The Diamond Interblock Stadium at RWM consists of 100 play stations with 27-inch monitors connected to two live baccarat tables, two live roulette tables and a BigSix Super Spin wheel. The BigSix Super Spin game is exclusive to the property, and features a bonus in which players have the chance to win up to 1,000 times their bet.
The bonus feature was conceptualized by RWM Chief Gaming Officer Hakan Dagtas, his calculations making the seemingly impossible payout of 1,000 to 1 possible in the bonus bet, and created a unique jackpot configuration. All games are accessible from a single play station, which is equipped with multi-game and multi-play functionalities. Four high-definition wall-mounted LCD displays provide players with live video feeds of the games’ progress, statistics and trends.
“RWM is pleased to partner with Interblock in realizing our Super Spin innovation to celebrate our first decade in the industry,” said Dagtas, who is also in charge of RWM’s gaming operations and marketing. “Super Spin is our way of expressing our gratitude to our members by raising their chances in every play.”
