In February, John Connelly, global CEO of Interblock Gaming, was named one of the year’s exemplary leaders as part of Vegas Inc.’s 2024 C-Suite Honors.
Each year, the award is given to leading executives in Southern Nevada. Honorees are nominated by colleagues and peers, and winners are chosen based on their work in their respective industries as well as contributions to the community.
“Each honoree displays leadership and innovation in his or her field while elevating their employees and their businesses,” said Vegas Inc. “Their expertise and experience solidify Southern Nevada as a world-class community to live and work in.”
Connelly has served as the global leader for Interblock Gaming for eight years. During that time, Interblock stated, the company experienced “periods of exponential growth, innovation and success” in the electronic table gaming space.
Since 2015, the statement continued, Connelly has led Interblock through “aggressive yet strategic investments in research and development to grow the company’s business in North America as well as globally. As Interblock continues to grow and enter new markets, John holds his employees to a high service standard. He is also personally involved with and has been instrumental in maintaining strong relationships with its casino customers.”
Connelly encourages volunteerism among Interblock employees and personally supports St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). He is a member of the board of GiGi’s Playhouse Las Vegas, which provides programs and support for people with Down Syndrome.
