Interblock Installs Hybrid Tables in Maryland

Interblock has completed its first North American installation of hybrid live/electronic table games at the Maryland Live! casino.

Interblock USA has completed what the company says is its first-ever North American installation of its new line of dealer-assist electronic table games (ETGs) at Maryland Live! casino in the Baltimore suburb of Hanover.

The installation consists of 56 gaming platforms with a game mix that includes craps, roulette and baccarat, along with Diamond Play Stations that are able to link to live games, giving Maryland Live! Casino an impressive mix of electronic table games and flexibility in configuration and scalability as additional innovations become available.

The dealer-assisted games beam real-time video of a live-dealt game to the play stations, where players bet on a slot-like interface.

Interblock created a customized feature for Maryland Live! that not only adds excitement to the experience and also provides a security double-check. The configuration makes it possible for two customized semi-automated craps and roulette tables to fit closely together, allowing the two dealers to seamlessly confirm results for each other. Players roll actual dice, heightening the excitement, and the interaction between dealers brings extra energy to players at both tables.

“Interblock has been a trusted vendor for years, and we’re thrilled to be the first North American casino to offer these new games,” said Maryland Live! Casino President and CEO Rob Norton. “The dealer-assist game play will be a unique experience for our players that should be well received by current and new prospective players. We know our players will love them.”

“Interblock is very excited and proud to be partnering with Maryland Live! on our largest-ever dealer-assisted game offering,” said Rob Bone, Interblock’s president of North America. “We view Maryland Live! as a key strategic partner, and we’re especially glad to be able to assist Maryland Live! in creating dynamic player experiences with this comprehensive mix of Diamond products. We look forward to bringing them even more innovative offerings in the future.”
