Interior Approves Two Chickasaw Nation Casinos in Oklahoma

The Chickasaw Nation in Oklahoma's land-trust applications, submitted in 2016, recently were approved by the U.S. Assistant Secretary Indian Affairs Tara Katuk Sweeney (l.). The tribe plans to build a casino at Ardmore, creating 213 jobs, and at Kingston, creating 175 jobs. Combined economic impact is estimated at $160 million in the first year $783 million over five years.
