Internet Vikings has secured a partnership with Greentube, the Novomatic Digital Gaming and Entertainment division. The global hosting provider is supporting the leading games provider’s launch in the state of Pennsylvania as part of its U.S. expansion.
“Internet Vikings already has a substantial client base in Pennsylvania, as it was one of the first U.S. states where we introduced our services. However, the Greentube project signifies a positive development for both our company and the local market,” said Rickard Vikström, Founder and CEO at Internet Vikings. “We have created a Vmware Tanzu offering for Greentube’s new platform in accordance with their request. When completed, Internet Vikings will make this unique service offering available to all iGaming and online sports betting businesses in other states too.”
Greentube, a leader in providing omnichannel gaming content, is currently expanding in the U.S., with Pennsylvania as its next step. The company required a very specific hosting setup to meet operational requirements—it needed hosting with Kubernetes capabilities to manage containerized workloads and services. As a solution, Internet Vikings proposed Managed VMware Tanzu enabled hosting services.

Internet Vikings commenced operations in the U.S. in early 2021. Since then, the global B2B iGaming- and online sports betting-specific provider has been adding U.S. states to its portfolio.
Ottosson explained that the setup for Greentube in Pennsylvania is not like any other so far. However, creating bespoke solutions for each individual client is one of the company’s pillars. “The opportunity to support a pioneering business such as Greentube with customized and new solutions was a welcome challenge for us to demonstrate our expertise,’’ he said.
