Intralot’s U.S. subsidiary has inked a 10-year contract extension with the Idaho Lottery, reinforcing a nearly two-decade partnership.
The renewed agreement, which takes effect in September 2027, will usher in a comprehensive upgrade of the state’s lottery technology and player interface.
Under the new deal, Intralot will deploy its next-generation platform, LotosX Omni™, designed to enhance game development, retailer integration and overall operational efficiency. The rollout includes cutting-edge equipment such as PhotonX terminals, the Dream Touch Flex self-service machines and CanvasX, an advanced content management system that enables personalized engagement across platforms.
“The operational gaming system is the heart of any lottery,” said Idaho Lottery Director Andrew Arulanandam. “After thorough research, we determined Intralot has the best product to meet our needs. This extension allows us to advance our technology, protect the integrity of our games, and ultimately increase dividends to Idaho’s public education and state building funds.”
New Intralot deal features machine enhancements
Intralot has served as the Idaho Lottery’s technology partner since 2007. The new contract also includes enhancements to existing vending machines and heightened security measures.
“This long-term extension reflects our shared commitment to innovation, player engagement, and responsible gaming,” said Richard Bateson, chief executive of Intralot. “We are honored to continue our collaboration with the Idaho Lottery and proud to support its mission to deliver value to citizens across the state.”
With the Idaho Lottery generating record sales in recent years, the investment in future-ready infrastructure is seen as a strategic move to sustain growth and maximize returns for state-funded initiatives.
