Intralot has agreed to sell its entire 80 percent stake in Intralot do Brasil, which runs the Brazilian lottery, to Saga Business & Gaming Intelligence SA.

Greek lottery giant Intralot has entered into an agreement to sell its Brazilian operation, Intralot do Brasil, to Saga Business & Gaming Intelligence SA.

Saga already owned 20 percent of the Intralot Brazil business. Intralot holds the other 80 percent; the operation will now be wholly owned by Saga. Intralot Group S.A. will continue to supply its gaming technology to the company after the closing of the transaction.

Running for more than 10 years in the Minas Gerais State Lottery, the transaction marks the beginning of a new era for Saga, focused on expansion in the lottery and sports betting operations in the Brazilian state and federal markets.

Closing of this transaction is subject to the completion of certain condition precedents standard for this kind of transactions.
