Iowa Casino Moves Create Job Opportunities

Construction and permanent jobs are being created as riverboat casinos move ashore in Iowa. In Davenport, Rhythm City Casino is providing 250 construction jobs and training dealers in advance of its July opening. Isle Casino Bettendorf, scheduled to open in 2017, will require construction and permanent workers once construction begins.

As Iowa riverboat casinos move onto land, new job opportunities will are benefit their host cities, including Davenport, where the 0 million Rhythm City Casino will open in July, and Bettendorf, where the Isle of Capri will open in 2017.

Rhythm City Casino currently is providing 250 construction jobs. Dealers School is being offered every week to train table games workers. Employees also are needed as servers, retail clerks, cooks, cashiers and more. The property will offer the gaming venue, restaurant, sports lounge and a hotel.

Ground has not been broken on the Isle Casino Hotel Bettendorf but the venue will provide construction and permanent jobs once building begins.
