Iowa Senate Approves Sports Betting Measure

In a 31-18 vote, the Iowa Senate sent a sports betting and daily fantasy bill to the state House. The measure would allow both on-site and mobile sports wagering. Income would be taxed at 6.75 percent plus 0.75 percent for charities. If approved, sports betting could kick off later this year.
