Ireland Introduces Sports Betting Kiosks

Dublin-based Paddy Power will install interactive kiosks to all of its 620 sports betting shops. The imageholder interactive kiosk includes an Elo 32-inch screen which supplies price, stats, and tips.

Paddy Power and imageholders have worked on retail solutions since 2015 to get to this point, according to Kiosk Marketplace.

“Every one of our 620 stores will now have at least one imageholders product,” Ian Quinlan, technical field services manager at Paddy Power, said in a press release. “This latest concept is being trialed in our new store openings and we’ll continue to monitor performance as we open shops in Q4 2022 and Q1 2023.”

Both companies are experimenting with a kiosk that features a writing shelf NFC reader and thermal receipt printer. Bettors could log into their account and print a betting slip.
