Isle of Man and Netherlands to Sign Gambling Agreement

The Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission and the Netherlands Gaming Authority are preparing to enter into an agreement on online gambling rules once the country legalizes online gambling. The two organizations have already signed a letter of intent.

The Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission and the Netherlands Gaming Authority have signaled their intent to reach an agreement after the country adopts a new Gaming and Betting Act that legalizes online gambling.

The two have signed a Letter of Intent expressing a mutual wish to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding.

The agreement will establish a formal basis for cooperation and information sharing between the Isle of Man and the Netherlands gambling authorities, officials said.

The agreement would focus on protection of consumers and improving regulatory standards through the exchange of knowledge, provision of assistance and establishment of a good working relationship.
