Innovative Technology has named Martin Cookson as the cash-handling equipment supplier’s senior business development manager for gaming and amusement.

U.K.-based cash-handling equipment supplier Innovative Technology Ltd. announced that it has named Martin Cookson as senior business development manager for gaming and amusement.

Cookson will be responsible for developing new and existing business primarily in the U.K. and Ireland. He has more than 30 years experience in the leisure and gaming industry, most recently with the IOA Group, Britain’s largest independent operator and supplier of gaming and leisure equipment.

“After meeting some of the sales team and directors, it was an easy decision for me,” Cookson said of his appointment Innovative Technology. “ITL has manufactured state-of-the-art cash handling equipment for over 20 years, and is recognized as market leaders. I join the company at an exciting time; they have a great product range and a clear vision for the future growth of the company. This is a new  challenge for me, and I look forward to working with my new colleagues to achieve the best possible results for ITL.”

“Martin’s appointment highlights our commitment to the gaming and amusement market,” said ITL Sales Director Marcus Tiedt. “I would like to personally welcome him to the team. This year we will bring a number of revolutionary new products to the market, and Martin will help to support our expanding customer base in the U.K. and further afield.”
