It’s Las Vegas Sands Versus Caesars at iGaming North America

The disagreements about online gaming between Las Vegas Sands and Caesars Interactive will be front and center at iGaming North America’s 2014 conference, March 19-21 at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas. The showdown will feature LVS’ Andy Abboud and Caesars Interactive’s Mitch Garber (l.).

The iGaming North America Conference  announced today that two titans of the gaming industry will help kick-off the 2014 Conference as the featured speakers for the show’s annual Visionaries Session.  The session, entitled “Is iGaming the Problem or the Solution?” will undoubtedly offer widely divergent views regarding the opportunities and threats of iGaming in the US.

Andy Abboud, vice president of government relations for Las Vegas Sands Corporation, will expound upon his recent Congressional testimony regarding the risks of online gambling and the need for prohibition.  Mitch Garber, CEO and director of Caesars Interactive Entertainment, will weigh in as a proponent of the legalization and regulation of iGaming as a necessary means to proactively address potential concerns.

Moderated by Steve Lipscomb, founder of the World Poker Tour, this lively debate is expected to offer a view of the industry in the US, and the perspectives of these prominent leaders will allow listeners to hone their own opinions as to how the industry should grow and evolve.

“Our goal for iGaming North America is to provide debates on a number of critical issues to the iGaming industry.  Hearing these visionaries discuss the rationales for their differing views offers an appropriate launch to several of those debates which will be featured on the program.“ commented Sue Schneider, Founder of  eGaming Brokerage and a partner in the conference to be held March 19-21 at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas.
