JACK Entertainment Names Martinelli, Hays

Alyse Martinelli was named vice president of human resources and Cynthia Hays was named vice president of compliance at JACK Entertainment in Detroit. Previously Martinelli was senior vice president and general counsel at medical technology start-up Reel Health Network and Hays was executive director of global technical operations services at Scientific Games Corporation.

Detroit-based JACK Entertainment recently appointed Alyse Martinelli as vice president of human resources and Cynthia Hays as vice president of compliance.

Most recently Martinelli was senior vice president and general counsel at the Reel Health Network medical technology start-up. Previously she was senior vice president of human resources for the U.S. division of LafargeHolcim, a global building materials manufacturer. Martinelli also was associate general counsel at AT&T Inc. for 20 years, specializing in human resources, labor relations, privacy, commercial and employment litigation plus mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. She holds a Juris Doctorate degree from Michigan State University College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Most recently, Hays was executive director of global technical operations services at Scientific Games Corporation, responsible for customer education, technical documentation, end-user training and technical and operational regulatory compliance for gaming and lottery systems. Previously, she worked for Harrah’s Entertainment Inc. (now Caesars Entertainment Corporation) specializing in operational, technical and legal compliance. At both companies, Hays worked with regulators on approvals for technology deployment. She also served as customer service director at the Flamingo Las Vegas Hotel and Casino. Hays, a certified paralegal, received the Great Women in Gaming Proven Leader Award in 2010. She will relocate from the Chicago area to Detroit.
