Doubles classroom capacity
The Japan Casino School, the country’s first dealer training institute, will open its second Osaka branch in Shinsaibashi on April 7, according to Inside Asian Gaming.
Osaka is considered a leading contender for one of Japan’s first three integrated resorts and will serve as host of the 2025 World Expo, about the same time those resorts are expected to open. According to the school, more than 700 students have graduated and are working in overseas IRs and aboard casino cruises.
Principal Masayoshi Oiwane told IAG, “We are opening a classroom in the Shinsaibashi arcade to double our course offerings in Osaka and to accept more students on to these courses.
“I am very excited to be involved in the education of Osaka residents so they will be able to make the most of the IR opportunity and run a school loved by its neighbors.”
