Japan’s Organization for the Sound Development of the Pachinko & Pachislot Industry has targeted 1,500 pachinko parlors for inspection. The properties will be assessed based on their addiction prevention measures.

Japan to Monitor Pachinko Halls

The Organization for the Sound Development of the Pachinko & Pachislot Industry of Japan will conduct on-site inspections of pachinko parlors across the country, checking them for adherence to addiction prevention standards, reports AGBNippon.com.

The decision was made at the OSDPPI regular board meeting on March 11. The target number of properties to be inspected is 1,500.
