JCJ Architecture Welcomes New Project Director

JCJ Architecture (JCJ), a nationally ranked planning, architecture, and interior design firm, last week announced the addition of JoyceLynn Lagula, associate AIA, to its Las Vegas office as senior associate and project director.

In her new role, Lagula will mentor and guide design teams in translating clients’ visions into realities, strengthening the firm’s strong regional foundation across the hospitality and entertainment sectors.

“It is a privilege to join a team so committed to promoting excellence in the field and to providing clients with impactful design solutions,” said Lagula. “I look forward to working with my colleagues to explore new growth possibilities in Las Vegas and to bring in diverse perspectives on attracting the next generation of hospitality guests and entertainment-goers.”

Lagula brings over 15 years of experience in global hospitality and entertainment interiors to the role, with expertise ranging from large hotel and casino resort projects to creating concepts and designs for intimate dining experiences. Previously, Lagula served as creative director and principal for Campbell House, where she spearheaded business development while mentoring and directing project teams. Prior to that, she held the position of design director and principal at Wilson Associates, where she helped to manage the firm’s West Coast offices in Las Vegas and Los Angeles.

Lagula has worked on such notable projects as the La Neta Cocina Y Lounge in Las Vegas; the Hilton Tower at Resorts World Las Vegas; The Emerald Queen Casino and Hotel Addition in Tacoma, Washington; and the Local Hotels Porto Rotondo in Sardinia, Italy.

“We are thrilled to have JoyceLynn join the JCJ team,” said Bob Gdowski, AIA, director of hospitality design at JCJ Architecture. “She has a proven talent for curating the guest experience while pushing the limits of design. Her distinct blend of creative ability and technical aptitude will undoubtedly yield successes for her teams and the firm as a whole.”

Lagula has taught as an adjunct instructor at both the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and the College of Southern Nevada. Lagula was named one of the 40 under 40 Emerging Leaders of Gaming by Global Gaming Business in 2020.
