JCM Golf Classic Raises $131,000

JCM Global’s AGEM/AGA Golf Classic, which hosted 136 players with support from 16 sponsors, raised $131,000 in support of responsible gaming research.

Last week’s 16th annual AGEM/AGA Golf Classic, sponsored by JCM Global, raised 1,000 to support the National Center for Responsible Gaming.

With support from 16 sponsors and a total of 136 players, the event was one of the most successful in the tournament’s 16-year history. To date, the AGEM/AGA Golf Classic Presented by JCM Global has raised nearly $1.4 million in support of the National Center for Responsible Gaming.
 
“Year after year, this event showcases the dedication and commitment of the gaming industry to fund the highest-quality research and education initiatives through the National Center for Responsible Gaming,” said Alan Feldman, NCRG chairman and executive vice president of global government and industry affairs for MGM Resorts International. “We are grateful for the generosity of the players and companies who support this annual event.”
 
“We are very grateful to all of the event’s sponsors, many of which are AGEM members, for stepping up their support for the NCRG,” said Marcus Prater, executive director of the Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers. “The research the NCRG conducts is critically important to our industry, and we thank each sponsor and player for the generous way they are aiding this cause.”

Next year’s event returns to the award-winning greens of Cascata in Boulder City on Tuesday, April 28, 2105.
