JCM Global has won 100 percent of the bill validator and printer business at the new Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady. Each of the casino’s 1,150 slots is protected by JCM’s award-winning iVIZION bill validator, GEN2 U thermal printer, and ICB (Intelligent Cash Box) system. JCM will replace the property’s GEN2 U printers with JCM’s new GEN5 thermal printer later this year.
“For more than 60 years, JCM Global has dedicated itself to creating innovative, industry-leading products that protect our customers’ businesses while also providing better, smarter, faster ways of connecting with customers,” said JCM Global Vice President of Sales Jason Cribbs. “We are excited that Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady chose iVIZION, GEN2 U as well as the new GEN5, which will bring advanced marketing capabilities to the casino.”
JCM’s landmark iVIZION is the most advanced bill validator in its class. Its Contact Image Sensor (CIS) technology scans 75 times more data points than any bill validator in its class, capturing the full image of both sides of a banknote or ticket. The CIS validation technology is combined with a patented anti-stringing device to detect and prevent manipulation or mechanical cheating.
Additionally, JCM’s GEN2 U will help the property make better connections with its customers. GEN2 U has a superior electro-mechanical design that guarantees high reliability and easy maintenance.
The GEN5 is the next generation of printer technology and features a faster processor, dual channel communications, Intelligent Ticket Handling technology and TITO and promotional couponing. Additionally, the GEN5 is FUZION technology-ready. Because Rivers Casino will have both iVIZION and GEN5, it will be able to take advantage of a wealth of new features with FUZION.
Accounting and reconciliation processes are aided by JCM’s award-winning ICB system, which eliminates multiple points of human error. ICB is field-proven to streamline drop processes and decrease drop collection time by electronically pairing cashbox and EGM. Additionally, the amount in every cash box is automatically reported to the database, adding more security to the count room. Optional web reporting gives detailed, customizable reports from across the casino floor.
