As part of his recent hiring by Golden Entertainment Inc., the company’s new corporate executive chef, Strip star chef Johnny Church will be in charge of upgrading restaurant offerings at the Stratosphere Hotel, Casino & Tower.
In a statement Church said, “Any chef would welcome the challenge to provide guests with a selection of new menus and specialty items that enhance the experience of our casino restaurants and elevates our taverns to a new level.”
He promised to design a menu employing “seasonally inspired ingredients with a progressive technique.”
Church has worked with some of Las Vegas’s most renowned chefs and won numerous awards locally and nationally. Among them being named a “Rising Chef” by Wine Spectator Magazine and a “Top Chef de Cuisine” by Las Vegas Life Magazine.
