Joingo Launches ‘Micro-Location’ Features

Joingo is launching an exclusive “WiFiApp” and “Micro-Location” features, designed to empower casinos to cash in on the growing mobile location trend.

Mobile technology company Joingo announced the launch of its newest location-based mobile engagement features.  “In-Venue Marketing,” “Way-Finding,” “Patron Intelligence” and Joingo’s exclusive “WiFiApp” utilize “Micro-Location” technology to deliver casino patrons a superior in-venue experience.

“At Joingo, we are developing solutions for our casino customers’ biggest challenges, including how to interact with patrons and influence their behavior when they are on property,” said Seamus McGill, Joingo’s president. “Our in-venue engagement features give the casino multiple ways to communicate in real time with their patrons, in the context of where they are and what they are doing inside the casino. We’ve specifically designed these features to provide our customers with immediate ROI.”

Micro-Location features utilize the casino property’s Wi-Fi Network or Bluetooth low-energy beacons to identify their mobile patrons’ location. With indoor location accuracy to within a few feet, Joingo’s In-Venue Marketing solution allows operators to automate the delivery oflocation-triggered ads and send context-relevant promotions, all based on patrons’ current location and movement on property.

Way-Findingallows patrons to see where they are within the property, provides turn-by-turn navigation of the shortest route to their desired destination, and can even highlight points of interest along the way. Patron Intelligence is used to analyze patrons’ movements on property, to maximize the patrons’ in-venue experience, as well as optimize the casino’s mobile campaign performance.

The WiFiApp is an exclusive mobile channel only available from JOINGO that effectively monetizes the property’s free Wi-Fi Network. The WiFiApp allows casinos to engage with any user connected to their Wi-Fi by placing a branded icon that remains visible on the users’ mobile screen throughout their entire internet browsing session.

A slide-out tray provides access to customizable services such as reservations, maps, customer assistance, and even special location-based offers. The WiFiApp does not require a download, making it an automatic entry point to the casino’s mobile experience.
