Joseph Magliarditi has been named chief executive officer of Gila River Casinos, which operates three casinos in Arizona, including Wild Horse Pass Hotel & Casino, Lone Butte Casino and Vee Quiva Hotel & Casino.
Magliarditi is a 20-year veteran of the gaming and hospitality industries. His most recent assignment was as a president and chief executive officer of Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas. Before that he was CEO of the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas and held executive positions with Morgan’s Hotel Group, M Resort and Rio Hotel & Casino.
Gila River Indian Community Chairman Pamela Johnson praised the new CEO for his “proven leadership experience and industry expertise, having a proven track record of driving profitability and improving the guest experience.”
