Judges Dismisses Defamation Lawsuit Against Las Vegas Blogger

A judge has thrown out a defamation suit brought by the Sahara casino against a blogger who reported the casino was about to close. District Judge Trevor Atkin dismissed a defamation by trade libel allegation in the suit. The suit initially charges that the blogger had received the information from an employee of an unnamed liquidation company and that he had called the casino to confirm the rumor.
