June Connecticut Slot Revenues Fall Slightly

Slots revenues at Foxwoods Resort Casino and Mohegan Sun were down only slight in June compared to last year. June was the first month of operation for both Connecticut tribal casinos since the pandemic shut down in March.

Revenues for the tribal operators of the Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods Resort casinos were down less than 5 percent in June, which was the first full month of operation since the Covid-19 pandemic, compared to 2019.

Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment (MGE) which also runs casinos in Nevada, Pennsylvania and Canada, said its slot revenues were north of $45.5 million, 3 percent less than $46.9 million in 2019.

Foxwoods, operated by the Mashantucket Pequots saw a 4.9 percent decline of its slot revenues from the year before, or $33.6 million.
