With his selection as CEO, Justin Moore comes full circle in the gaming industry. Moore, who now runs CasaBlanca Resort & Casino and Virgin River Hotel & Casino, both in Mesquite, Nevada, got his start in gaming in the city as a food server.
“Mesquite Gaming has presented me with a tremendous opportunity to elevate the unique experiences these two destination properties already provide to everyone looking for entertainment, recreation, and fun,” Moore said in a statement.
A quarter century after working as a food server in Mesquite, Moore is back. His resume shows he served as general manager in Rivers Casino Philadelphia and before that at Rivers Casino & Resort in Schenectady, Station Casinos in Las Vegas and assistant general manager at Green Valley Ranch Resort & Casino.
Named to Las Vegas’ 40 Under 40 in 2015, a year later, Moore was tapped as Mentor of the Year by the William F. Harrah College of Hospitality at UNLV.
