New partnerships in the gambling arena have been commonplace. But it’s less common to have horse racetracks allied with betting operators. A more recent example involves Kambi Group, a betting software company, which teamed up with Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort, in Hot Springs National Park in Arkansas. The result will be the development of a new online betting app.
Kambi can now offer its betting products to Oaklawn’s casino and racetrack, leading to the creation of a new betting platform—Oaklawn Sports, according to Lineups.
Oaklawn has collaborated with a Kambi brick-and-mortar sportsbook since last year.
The partnership can cut into the success of two other mobile, but small, sportsbooks, Betly and BetSaracen.
Kambi has a number of differing partnerships, including one with Churchill Downs Inc. Others include Unibet and MaximBet
