Prairie Band Casino & Resort in Mayetta, Kansas is giving young adults “the opportunity to dabble in gambling” at Prairie Band One Stop, a small reservation casino located in the back of a convenience store.

According to local news station KSNT, the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation makes Class II gaming available to players from 18 to 21 at One Stop, as it’s authorized to do by the Indian Regulatory Gaming Act.

“What we hope to offer here is, one, a different location, and two, a different atmosphere,” said General Manager Bill Marsh. “So if you like a quieter setting, then this is the place for you as we only have 61 total games.”

The larger Prairie Band Casino offers a full complement of slots, table games and bingo. It was the first full-service casino in Kansas and is located north of Topeka.
