Gossip column fodder for sure. It even spawned a humorous response from Jason Kelce, the brother of Travis, who has a Philadelphia Eagle teammate named Swift.
Seriously folks, T. Swift and T. Kelce, if they’re really an item, more power to them. Sales of Travis jerseys ballooned 400 percent. When Taylor appeared on Sunday Night Football, Swifties turned to sports betting, USA Today reported.
According to Tipico Sportsbook, there was a 27 percent increase on overall bets on the Chiefs from Week 3 to Week 4. The Chiefs also saw a 25 percent increase on total moneyline and spread bets from last week.
Kelce, a seven-time Pro Bowler, experienced:
- an uptick in wagers of 115 percent.
- over twice as many player prop bets placed on him between this week and last.
- a 122 percent increase in Travis Kelce anytime touchdown bets.
- the Chiefs had 23 percent of all bets with Tipico. Cowboys-Patriots were next with 9 percent.

The two most popular player prop bets on DraftKings involved “Kelce anytime touchdown scorer” and “Kelce long reception over 22 yards.” That latter bet was attached to a Swift song from 2012, “22.”
