Kansas Crossing Casino and Hotel in Pittsburg, Kansas recently received its first slot-machine delivery, with more than 620 Aristocrat games including the popular games , the “Walking Dead,” “Buffalo Grand” and “Buffalo Stampede.” The venue is expected to open within two months.

Kansas Crossing Director of Marketing Carter Blair said, “What we want is what our guests want. We’ll have a mix of the newest and hottest games, plus the tried and true favorites everyone is used to playing. Our goal is to provide a variety of slot products catering to all guests.” Blair added the games will include video poker, traditional slots, progressive slots and 16 table games.

The $80 million project will include a 123-room Hampton Inn and Suites and a 600-seat Bison Bar Music Corral entertainment complex.

Blair added the arrival of the slots “kind of marks the escalation to opening. When the slot products arrive and are set up is when the casino floor becomes the casino floor, instead of just a big open room.”
