Keller Named Mark Twain General Manager

Luke Keller is the new vice president and general manager at Mark Twain Casino in La Grange, Missouri, owned by Affinity Gaming. Previously he was director of marketing at the company's Lakeside Hotel and Casino in Osceola, Iowa. He also worked at Grand Falls Casino Resort and Prairie Meadows Casino in Altoona, Iowa.

Affinity Gaming announced Luke Keller has been named vice president and general manager at Mark Twain Casino in LaGrange, Missouri. He will be responsible for day-to-day operations at the casino and the nearby RV park, as well as oversee strategic planning and implementation of gaming procedures.

Most recently, Keller was director of marketing at Affinity Gaming’s Lakeside Hotel and Casino in Osceola, Iowa, where he was responsible for marketing initiatives, advertising, direct mail, player services, entertainment, group and facility sales, promotion forecasting implementation and profitability, database analytics and modeling. Previously, Keller held a player development position at Grand Falls Casino Resort and Prairie Meadows Casino in Altoona, Iowa.

Keller stated, “I am truly honored to take the next step of my career with Affinity Gaming at Mark Twain Casino and RV Park. Affinity Gaming has become an extension of my family, and I look forward to guiding this property to continued success. This place is definitely going in the right direction. I’ve worked with some of the staff here in the past, and I’m familiar with the clientele.”

He added, “This is a neat little casino in a unique part of the country, and I’m very happy to get my opportunity to start here.” Keller said patrons can look forward to “some positive changes” in the next 90 days.

Opened July 25, 2001, Mark Twain employs 200 people and offers 437 electronic gaming devices and 12 table games. It’s one of two Missouri casinos owned by Las Vegas-based Affinity Gaming, which also operates one casino in Iowa,

Affinity, headquartered in Las Vegas, operates 11 casinos. In addition to its two casinos in Missouri and Lakeside Hotel and Casino in Iowa, it operates five casinos in Nevada and three in Colorado.
