KGM, the Pennsylvania-based exclusive distributor of electronic table games manufactured by Slovenia’s Alfastreet, announced the first two installations of Alfastreet electronic roulette games in Connecticut.
The four-seat R4 automated roulette game went live at Mohegan Sun last week, and the eight-seat R8 went live at Foxwoods Resort Casino two weeks ago. Each features a roulette wheel in the center, flanked by player stations with private touch-screens for wagering.
“Alfastreet’s automated table games offer real value for players and reflect evolving preferences in modern casino play,” said Jason Peters, president of KGM. “Besides being fast, convenient and easy to play even for novices, these games create a unique social environment where players interact and cheer each other on in a joint effort to beat the house.”
“The advantages for casino operators are just as numerous,” added Jason Cohen, executive vice president of KGM. “Automated table games maximize profitability of the gaming floor by allowing for 24/7 operation, faster bets and more players per game. Even more importantly, these games are very approachable, removing the anxiety factor beginning players often experience with traditional live games.”
Alfastreet’s electronic table games are completely customizable. Parameters like speed of the game, denomination and betting limitations can be adjusted easily. While automated roulette is Alfastreet’s core product, KGM has plans under way to install game units including electronic blackjack and baccarat in casinos across North America, pending jurisdictional licensing.
