Kid’s Game

Parents would be able to join their children in a game of bingo if a bill before the New Hampshire Senate becomes law. Currently only children are allowed to play bingo for prizes.

A bill before the New Hampshire Senate would allow hotels and campgrounds to host adult bingo games, something that now is only allowed for children.

The bill would allow adults to play the bingo if they are supervising minors without being eligible to win the same prizes that the children can currently win. Currently the games are offered to children only and parents cannot participate.

According to a sponsor of the bill, “Sometimes you’ll see that adults will drop their kids off and leave. This will take care of that problem. I’d like to stay there and enjoy them having fun and enjoying bingo.”

The maximum value for prizes would be $5.
