France-based Kindred Group has partnered with Gamban to employ its software program on its Unibet platforms operating in the country. The software gives players to ability to opt out.
Gamban is a software tool that gives players control over their gambling activities. It blocks online gaming sites on all mobile devices. It allows both unlicensed and licensed sites to be blocked and enables self-exclusion.
It was previously not available in France. Kindred help fund its development for use with French players and its 17 licensed platforms.
Kindred Group’s general manager for France, Mathieu Drida, told SBC News, “At Kindred, we want gambling to remain a fun source of entertainment, Mathieu Drida, general manager for France at the Kindred Group.” He added, “As an online gambling operator, we take our responsibility towards our players very seriously and want to provide them with the most effective support tools on the market.”
Drida continued, “This is what the partnership between Unibet and Gamban is all about, and we encourage all gambling operators to adopt this solution in order to make it more widely available in France.”
