Malta-based online gaming operator Kindred Group announced a partnership with Las Vegas-based Scientific Games Corporation under which Kindred will deploy the Open Platform System of Sci Games’ SG Gaming division for what it calls “swift access” to the U.S. iGaming market, beginning with New Jersey by the end of the year and potentially moving on to other markets.
Under the terms of the three-year deal, which includes a two-year extension, SG Digital will be Kindred’s exclusive U.S. partner. The company will access SG Digital’s Open Platform System, a player account management platform; and the Open Gaming System, a game aggregation technology.
“We are delighted to partner with SG Digital in the U.S., giving us swift access to the market and giving our coming U.S. customers a truly great gambling experience on a top technology platform,” said Manuel Stan, senior vice president of Kindred US. “Kindred has always put the customer at the heart of our operations, and ensuring that they can enjoy gambling in a safe, secure and stable environment is crucial for us.”
Dylan Slaney, senior vice president of gaming at SG Digital, added, “This partnership signifies a bright future for SG Digital and Kindred in New Jersey. The growing market will benefit greatly from our Open Gaming System and Open Platform System technologies, and we’re thrilled to work with Kindred.”
