Gaming industry veteran Stacy King (l.) has joined the Sahara Las Vegas as vice president of human resources. King has 30 years of experience in the field.
In 2000, King came to Las Vegas as employment and benefits manager at Mandalay Bay, after previously serving nine years as employment supervisor at Edgewater Hotel, Casino & Resort and Colorado Belle Hotel & Casino Resort in Laughlin, Nevada.
Over the next seven years, she went on to advance within the team at Mandalay Bay to beverage manager and director of employee relations before moving to Red Rock Hotel & Casino.
As the property’s director of human resources, King oversaw all human resources operations with a clear and defined focus on a company culture that engaged, informed and recognized employees. After 11 years, she accepted a position in Cleveland, Ohio with JACK Entertainment, where she served as vice president of human resources, overseeing JACK Thistledown Racino and JACK Cleveland Casino.
“We’re delighted to welcome Stacy both to the Sahara Las Vegas team and back home to Las Vegas,” said Sahara Las Vegas General Manager Paul Hobson. “She joins us with a great strategic vision for our team members’ professional growth while advancing the goals of the property. We will benefit from her expertise and leadership.”
